Our Team

Corey Hudson, T.C.R.G.
Founder - Coach - Creative Director - Choreographer

One of the Twin Cities premiere Irish dance coaches, Corey brings unparalleled passion for teaching & choreography to every class.

With over 30 years of dance experience, Corey has coached dancers to great success at Regional, National, and World Championship levels, including 2013/2014 U8/U9 Boys National Champion & multiple World medal holders.

As Minneapolis' only fully certified male instructor, Corey brings unique perspective to solo and team Irish dancing to children & adults on both recreational and competitive levels.

Corey took the first steps of his Irish Dancing career in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. While studying dance at the Irish Centre of Pittsburgh under the tutelage of the incomparable Ms. Tessie Burke, Corey trained with some of the world's top Irish dance talent. Honing his skills, he worked side-by-side with former principal dancers from Lord of the Dance and later traveled the world as a coach with the Bell School of Irish Dance.

After completing his accreditation with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha in 2011 Corey earned his T.C.R.G. certification. Within months of the formation of Hudson Irish Dance Academy in 2016, Corey's students earned National & World Championship qualification and by 2018 HIDA had opened a full-time studio in Wayzata, serving the Twin Cities with expert coaching (delivered with a smile)!

Paige Even
Coach - Director of Operations - Performance Coordinator - Costume Coordinator

Paige was introduced to the world of Irish dance at age 16 when she retired from a successful high school basketball career and announced to her surprised family that she wanted to dance! Within days, she had traded in her sneakers for wigs & jigs, taking the first small steps of traditional Irish step-dancing where she quickly discovered her passion.

After 6 months of recreational Irish dancing, she jumped feet-first into this new world by attending her first feis - (Irish Dance competition) - and she was hooked! In only two short years, Paige achieved the level of Preliminary Championship, owing to endless hours of hard work & practice.

Soon after she started dancing, Paige began student teaching and developed a dedicated following of young dancers who looked to her as a role-model, inside & outside of the dance studio. Paige continues to nurture her passion for Irish dance and guiding young minds as an instructor at HIDA.

Paige is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and is currently pursuing her T.C.R.G. certification from An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha.  When she's not teaching in the studio or organizing performances, Paige is also HIDA's Costume Coordinator, helping ensure our dancers look and feel their best while performing and competing!

Paige is adored by students young and old for her dedication and compassion as she strives to help every child achieve their goals. Her commitment to helping every HIDA student look and feel their best is second to none!
