Upcoming Local and Mid - America Feis Schedule

Friday, Nov. 10: Feis Prep Class

We will be hosting a special Feis Prep Class open to all of our competitors. This extra class will allow us to run through all competition dances giving our dancers a little boost of confidence heading into the weekend. This class is optional and free of charge.

Beginners: 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Novice, Prizewinner, PC/OC: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 11: MN State Championships

Feis Doors Open: 7:30 a.m.
Competition Start: 8:30 a.m.
Dress: School and solo costumes (black-out is always an option)
Coaches Attending: Yes

Sunday, Nov. 12: St. Paul Autumn Feis

Feis Doors Open: 7:30 a.m.
Competition Start: 8:30 a.m.
Dress: School and solo costumes (black-out is always an option)
Coaches Attending: Yes

Feis Venue:

The Mall of America, 6th Floor.

Feis Parking:

You can find recommended parking instructions In the feis syllabus, but you can park anywhere you would like. Please note - department stores will NOT be open when the feis begins! Only entrances to the main mall area, West Market and East Broadway (1st floor Rotunda), open at 7:00 a.m.

Regardless of where you choose to park, you must go to the 3rd Floor - Culinary on North to access the elevator to the 6th floor. If you are not familiar with the layout of MOA, we suggest viewing the MOA map for additional visual help.

Please, Note!

You must register your dancer(s). Coaches will not be present at every feis, but dancers are always encouraged to attend regardless of coaches or other HIDA dancers participation.

Not sure what age group your child should be in?
- The age group of your dancer is based on the age of the dancer as of January 1st of that calendar year.
  - Example: If your dancer is age 10 on January 1, 2023, that dancer will be in the U11 (under 11) age group for the entire 2023 calendar year, regardless of when they turn 11.

Not sure what competition group/dance your child should be in?
- We suggest registering to the best of your knowledge, and then provide a printed, or emailed, copy of the registration to either Corey or Paige before you pay.
- Some competitions do not allow cancellations or refunds. So, please confirm registration with Corey or Paige prior to paying for registration, if you have any questions or concerns.
  - All feis registrations will need to be paid prior to the registration deadline to ensure your participation.
